On Monday night, Wolves and Everton go head-to-head at Molineux in the Premier League, with the hosts in great form of late under their new manager.

WOLVES

Wolves are unbeaten in their last four games, but drew their previous one against Leeds. It was a disappointing result considering they let the lead go in the 94th minute after giving away a penalty.

The 20/21 season was a disappointing one for Wolves as they finished 13th. Scoring goals was their biggest issue and they will be hoping now that Jiminez and Hwang can really form a partnership. They have got themselves into 11th in the Premier League, with Hwang getting off to a good start at his new club.

Under the new manager, Wolves are playing 343. This appears to be making them much harder to score past, having conceded just five goals so far. It’ll be a tough game against Everton and they’ll need to be clinical if they want the three points.

EVERTON

After a fantastic start under Rafa Benitez, Everton are now struggling with now wins in three, losing their last two. They were on the receiving end of a 5-2 loss on Saturday against Watford. This was a very poor performance, especially considering they took the lead twice!

Under Rafa, the expectation is that Everton can get back into some sort of European football. Right now they are in ninth place, but have been without Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin for a while. With both on their way back, this will be a huge boost for Everton and they should start picking up more results.

Against Wolves, Everton really needs a response. Fans will be hoping for a much more defensively solid performance and we might see Richarlison from the start. A win would be fantastic here and would bring the fans back onside after the terrible performance in the last game.
