On Sunday afternoon, West Brom host Liverpool, with the visitors in need of a win to keep their top-four hopes alive!

WEST BROM

Sam Allardyce’s side aren’t in the best of form of late with no wins in their last four games. They lost 3-1 last week away to Arsenal, a result which confirmed that they will be playing in the Championship next season.

Beating relegation was always going to be a hard task for West Brom. They conceded the most goals in the league and this was with Big Sam in charge, who before this season had never been relegated from the Premier League.

Against Liverpool, it’s going to be a tough game for Big Sams side. However, now the pressure of staying up is off. They won’t see much of the ball and will play the majority of the game in their own half. Their work off the ball will be just as important as on it, but don’t put it past Allardyce to get a shock result!

LIVERPOOL

Klopp’s side are back in form now with two wins in their last two. They picked up a huge three points in their last game, beating Man United 4-2 at Old Trafford. It was one of their best performances this season and it came at exactly the right time.

Liverpool are currently fifth in the table, four points behind Chelsea in fourth but with a game in hand. They need to win all their remaining games to have a chance of top four, but they are all winnable matches.

Against West Brom, Liverpool won’t want a repeat of the last fixture where they drew 1-1. Salah is back in the goals at the moment and will fancy his chances against the league’s worst defence. Liverpool have bottled big moments this season, but we don’t see it happening again.
