Transfer Round Up And Rumours (7)

GBale

The summer transfer window is always busy with some of the worlds biggest players moving clubs. Here we’re going to round up all the latest transfers and rumours from around the world!

Players go for ridiculous amounts of money in the current market. In 2017 PSG broke the transfer record when they signed Neymar from Barcelona for £198 million! Since then the value of every player has gone up and clubs are demanding bigger fees.

The transfer market is an exciting time for any football fan. It’s a time when your club can sign that next big player who is going to take your side to the next step. We’re going to look at those who have moved and the players who are rumoured to move.

Bale – There are many rumours flying around as to where Gareth Bale will be playing football next season. According to his manager, Bale will be leaving the club soon and a deal is “best for everyone involved”. Firstly it appeared as though he may go on loan someone but his agent has said this won’t happen. Not many clubs would be willing to pay his wages either due to his age and injury record. China is his most likely destination with several clubs wanting to make him the highest-paid player in the world on around £1,000,000 a year!

Lookman – The young English winger has moved to RB Leipzig where he had a successful loan period last year. He played 11 games and scored five goals and the German club have been interested in him since. He cost them £22.5 million which in this market isn’t a bad fee. Many Everton fans were disappointed that the club let him go but he never really played his best at Everton as he has at Leipzig and Charlton.

Gueye – Another player to leave Goodison Park is Idrissa Gueye. PSG appear to have won the race to sign him for a modest £28 million. They initially tried to sign the midfielder in January but Everton felt the bid of £21.5 million was too low. Everton have recently brought in Delph from Man City so he will be a straight replacement for them. Gueye will join Ander Herrera in moving from the Premier League to PSG.

Ceballos – The young Spanish midfielder is on his way to the Premier League. He has been highly spoken about since his impressive Euro U21s campaign. Arsenal has signed him from Real Madrid on a season-long loan and it could turn out to be a very good bit of business. The Gunners only have £45 million in their transfer budget reportedly so landing Ceballos on loan is very good. He can have a big impact in his year at the Gunners and maybe get them back to the Premier League.

Joelinton – Newcastle have seemed to of backed Steve Bruce straight away by bringing in the Brazilian striker. He came from Hoffenheim and cost the club £40 million. This is a move to help Newcastle get back up the Premier League and be fighting for the top half of the table not just to stay up. He has been handed the number nine shirts which comes with lots of pressure at the North East club.
