On Wednesday night, PSG host Man City at the Parc des Princes, in the first leg of the semi-final in the Champions League.

The runners up last year are looking to go one better this year and win their first-ever Champions League. They beat Bayern Munich in the previous round, knocking out the current holders.

PSG have never won the Champions League, same as manager Pochettino. He came runner up the year before PSG did, when Liverpool beat his Spurs side in the final. It would be fantastic for both the club and the manager to go one better this year.

PSG have shown they can beat the very best, as they did to Bayern. They are capable of conceding a few poor goals but their attack is world-class and on their day will take apart any side. Against City, they’ll be tested at both ends of the pitch and will need to be at their very best to reach another final.

MAN CITY

Pep Guardiola’s side are also in search of their first-ever Champions League trophy. They beat Dortmund in the quarter-finals making it to their first-ever semi-final in the competition.

City are the current favourites to win the competition priced at 5/4 with Betfair. They have the best squad in the competition and with the Premier League as good as wrapped up, they can fully concentrate on finally winning the Champions League.

In any leg in the Champions League, it is key to get an away goal. City will want to control the game and will look to exploit the weakness of PSG that is their defence. We expect Cancelo and Walker to both play to try and cope with the pace of the opposition’s attack.
