Gian Piero Gasperini’s team head into this game on a high, as they are nine games unbeaten in all competitions. A 4-0 midweek win over Venezia in Bergamo means that Atalanta have now recorded four straight wins. The good recent run of form has moved the visitors to within four points of their hosts. The win last time out saw Atalanta score at least two goals for the fifth time in six matches in Serie A.

The Nerazzurri are a formidable away team, as they are unbeaten in 13 away matches in Serie A, having recorded ten wins in their 13 unbeaten games on their travels. Gasperini’s team have been prolific away from home, scoring at least seven goals in their previous nine league matches on travels.

Napoli are without the suspended Filippo Costa, while Andre Zambo Anguissa, Alessandro Zanoli are expected to miss out through injury and illness. Star striker Victor Osimhen is the home sides biggest absentee through injury.

Atalanta look set to be without Robin Gosens and Matteo Lovato through injury, while Federico Mattiello is also ruled out through suspension.
