Gareth Bale To Finally Leave Real Madrid?

GarethBaleFeature

One of the world best footballers could be about to be on the move as Zinedine Zidane is looking to get rid of Gareth Bale!

When Gareth Bale scored that overhead kick against Liverpool in the 2018 Champions League final he probably thought he wouldn’t be getting forced out of the club a year later. However, since Zidane made his return to Madrid he has made it clear Bale is surplus to requirements.

He joined the club back in 2013 for a fee of £85.1 million! Bale has had a very successful time at the club winning four Champions Leagues, one La Liga, one Copa del Rey and a Spanish Super Cup. On top of this, in 231 games he has 102 goals and 65 assists, a ridiculous record!

This season though Zidane has shown little to no interest in having Bale at the club. Many times he has been on the bench brought other players on over him when in need of a goal. On the weekend Zidane said that Bale is close to leaving and it is a deal that is best for everyone.

Since then Bale’s agent has said that Zidane needs to show more respect towards the Welshman. It has been claimed that Bale though refused to play on the weekend against Bayern. This has lead to many clubs continuing their interest in Bale and were going to look at who.

Any Chinese Club – 1/2

There are many rumours circulating that some of China’s biggest spenders are interested in Bale. It is reported that they are willing to offer him £1 million a week. This would make him the highest-paid footballer in the world and this is what his agent is saying is going to take to get him in China.

The issue with China is the quality of the league. Bale has played in the best league’s in the world and at the age of 30, he is still more than capable to play at that level. He would be a big pull for the Chinese league and at 1/2 on Betfair, it looks like it could definitely be on. They will need to move fast though with only eight days of the Chinese transfer window left open.

Not to sign or agree a contract with any other club – 7/2

It’s reported by Bale and his agent that he is pretty happy to remain in the Spanish capital. He won’t force a move through from the club unless it is the right one. Many have spoken about a potential loan move but again these have been turned down by his agent. Bale is regarded as one of the best players in the world and will not be going on loan to anyone anywhere apparently.

Man United – 10/1

Earlier on in the season, United were favourites to sign Bale, but not on Betfair anymore. The club are in need of some signings to help get them back up the table and it appeared Bale would be that man.

He has been linked with Man United for a few seasons now but nothing has ever materialised. Old Trafford would be a good move for Bale but now the club has spent big on Wan-Bisakka and more to come it doesn’t look like they will have the funds. However, United have made surprising late moves in the past with Di Maria and Falcao.

Bayern Munich – 12/1

This season Bayern announced that Ribery would be as well as a certain left-footed winger would be leaving the club. What better way to replace Robben than with Bale. This would be a good move for both the player and the club. It would be a direct replacement for Robben and Bale would still be able to play at the highest level.

Bayern have also expressed their desire to bring in a big name and Bale would certainly fit that criteria.
