It’s Fulham vs Newcastle in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, with the already relegated home side looking to try and end the season on a high.

Scott Parker’s side finally ended a run of three consecutive losses with a draw at Old Trafford. The game finished 1-1 and Fulham were actually unlucky not to get all three points, after having some big chances to win.

Fulham will be preparing already for life in the Championship next season. A lot of their players are on loan currently so this last game may see some fringe players given a chance to show their worth.

The game against Newcastle will be one that Fulham will believe they can get something from. If they play like they did against united midweek they will cause the visitors problems. It’s the last game of the season, but the first time the home fans have been able to watch them in the Premier League so the atmosphere will be good!

NEWCASTLE

The Magpie’s recent turn of form is what has kept them up this season. They beat Sheffield United 1-0 in their last game, with loanee Joe Willock scoring in his sixth consecutive game.

This game was being billed as potentially a survival game only a month ago, but Steve Bruce has got his side playing a lot better to ensure this result doesn’t really matter. Currently, they are 15th, but a win could potentially see them go up to 13th which is a lot better than expected.

The visitors will be full of confidence after their recent wins. Newcastle plays with a lot of pace in their front line. Willock, Saint-Maximin and Almiron having formed a good trio and can cause this Fulham defence problems.

Team News

Mitrovic, Robinson, Cairney and Kongolo will all miss the final game of the season. Reed is a doubt after a knock midweek.

Joelinton, Wilson, Darlow, Lascelles, Fraser and Hayden make up Newcastle’s injury list. Willock, Saint-Maximin and Dubravka are doubts.
