On Monday night, Finland take on Belgium, with the home side needing to get something from the game to have any chance of making it out of Group B.

FINLAND

Finland aren’t given much hope of winning this game, currently priced at 10/1 with BoyleSports. They lost their second game in the group stages 1-0 against Russia and currently sit third on three points.

They are the lowest-ranked side in Group B, yet qualified for this summer’s Euro’s in second place to Italy. Finland are priced at 500/1 to go all the way this summer and given that this is their first-ever European Championships, were not surprised!

Finland do have some good players in their squad, the most well-known of which is probably Norwich striker Teemu Pukki. He has 30 goals for his country so far, just three of Finnish legend Jari Litmanen. Rangers’ Glen Kamara and Bayer Leverkusen’s Lukáš Hrádecký are also in the squad. It’ll be a tough game against the Belgium, but they are expected to rest players which could give them a chance.

BELGIUM

Sitting top of Group B is the Red Devils. They have won both of their games so far this summer, beating Denmark 2-1 in the last game thanks to a fantastic second half performance from Kevin De Bruyne. They are favourites to win this one priced at 1/3.

Belgium are yet to win a trophy but this could be a great chance for them. They finished third at the 2018 World Cup and got to the quarter-finals in Eur0 2016. They will be expecting to get to at least the same stage this season.

Martinez’s squad is as good as any going forward. Lukaku leads the line for his side with De Bruyne, Hazard and Carrasco just some of the options behind. They may rest some of these for this game, but a win would guarantee top spot and a potentially easier opponent in the Round of 16.
