Since that game, Celtic have drawn with Hibs, lost to Sparta Prague, lost to Ross Country, lost to AC Milan and drew against St Johnstone in their previous league game before this fixture with Kilmarnock.

The poor run of results has been a bitter pill for Celtic fans to swallow. Protests have grown outside Parkhead following recent defeats. However, Neil Lennon’s position as Celtic manager seems safe for now. Yet, a loss to Kilmarnock this weekend would surely put the manager in the firing line.
