Southampton vs Crystal Palace

TUE 11 APR 2021 – KO 20:15

Southampton vs

It’s Southampton Vs Crystal Palace on Tuesday night with the action kicking off at 20:15, a point for the home side would guarantee their survival.

The Saints are in a poor run of form, with just one win in their last seven Premier League games. They were beaten 2-0 by Liverpool at the weekend but are 10 points clear of the bottom three with four games to go.

They started well this season but injuries recently are starting to hamper them a bit. They were beaten by Leicester recently in the Fa Cup semi-final and are now wanting the season to end to regroup for hopefully a better campaign next season.

Southampton play with a lot of energy and press high up the pitch. They have struggled in front of goal lately, with just two goals in their last four games. Danny Ings has been a huge miss and they are going to need to find another way to score to end this season on a positive note.

The Eagles ended a run of three losses in a row at the weekend when they beat Sheffield United 2-0. Eze was on fine form and got himself a goal late on in the game.

Palace are currently 13th in the table so are safe, but too far off from pushing into the top ten. It has been a disappointing year for them with some of the players in their squad and will be hoping for a better season next year.

With Southampton not in great form, Palace will fancy getting a result here. Zaha and Eze are fantastic players who can harm any side and the visitors will look to get them on the ball as much as possible.

Team News

Southampton have a few players out. Their confirmed injuries are Romeu, Smallbone, Obafemi, Minamino and Ings

Wickham, McArthur, Sakho and Ferguson are all out injured. McCarthy is a doubt.

Match Prediction

Neither side are in the best form of late and they are both very inconsistant. We are predicting this to finish a score draw.

Odds 5/2
