Real Mallorca vs Barcelona
SAT 13 JUNE 2020 – KO 21:00pm
BETTING & MATCH PREVIEW
On Saturday night, Real Mallorca host Barcelona in what could be a vital encounter at both ends of the Spanish top-flight table.
Earlier in the season, the Islanders looked doomed to life in the Segunda next season.
However, Vicente Moreno’s team are now just a point adrift from safety. They head into this big clash on the back of an unconvincing run of form. Picking up two wins and a draw from their last four league outings has given the home side a real belief that they can escape the drop this season.
Their recent home form in La Liga has hampered them somewhat in their pursuit of survival, as they have lost four of their last six league matches on home soil. Their recent home games in La Liga have been low scoring, with under 2.5 goals scored in four of their last five matches.
The reigning champions are once again in a major tussle for the title with eternal rivals Real Madrid. The Catalans giants are just two points above their rivals from the Spanish capital with 11 league games remaining of La Liga.
Quique Setien’s team head into this game on a good run of form. They have won five of their last six league outings, with the only exception a 2-0 defeat at rivals Real Madrid.
One negative for Barcelona is their recent away record, as they have won just one of their last five league games on their travels.
Real Mallorca look set to be without Baba Rahman and Leonardo Koutris due to injury. Barcelona will be without the suspended centre-back Clement Lenglet, while forward Ousmane Dembele is expected to miss out through injury.
