Time looks to be running out for the Canaries to mount a great escape from the Premier League relegation zone. Dean Smith’s team are bottom of the Premier League table and seven points adrift of safety.

The team from Norfolk have failed to win in eight top-flight games. However, a goalless draw at Brighton last time out ended a six-game losing streak for City in the Premier League. The draw last time out saw the home team keep their first clean sheet in eight league matches.

Even Carrow Road has not brought much comfort for Norwich, as they have lost six of their last eight home games in the Premier League.

BURNLEY

Things may just be looking up for Burnley in the fight for survival after a last-gasp 3-2 win over 17th place Everton last time out. The win moved the Clarets to within a point of Frank Lampard’s team in the relegation battle.

The win over the men from Merseyside ended a five-game winless run for the Clarets in the English top-flight, including four straight defeats in the Premier League.

Part of Burnley’s perilous position in the table is their poor away form, as Sean Dyche’s team has won just one of their last 15 away games in the English top-flight.

However, the Clarets were three away games unbeaten in the Premier League before a 2-0 defeat against Brentford in their last league match on their travels.

Norwich could be without Max Aarons, Ozan Kabak, Andrew Omobamidele, Anthony Idah and Josh Sargent through injuries. Burnley look set to be with Ben Mee, Erik Pieters and Johann Berg Gudmundsson due to injuries.
