Liverpool’s recent good run of form has put them back in touch with reigning champions and league leaders Manchester City. However, they still trail Pep Guardiola’s team by six points, with a game in the hand on the Citizens.

The Reds have recorded eight straight Premier League wins at Anfield, having conceded just two goals in the process.

West Ham

David Moyes’ team are very much still in the race for the Champions League spots in the Premier League. The Irons are currently fifth-place in the table, just two points adrift of Manchester United who occupy the final Champions League berth in the English top-flight.

The Irons are unbeaten in four league outings going into this clash. Last time out, the team from east London recorded a 1-0 home win over Wolves. The game followed a familiar low-scoring trend, as four of West Ham’s last five league matches have produced under 2.5 goals.

The Hammers have a mixed recent away record in the Premier League. However, the visitors’ record of just two away wins in eight matches is a poor one.
