Leeds vs

On Sunday afternoon, Leeds and Norwich meet at Elland Road in a massive clash at the bottom of the Premier League table.

The home team’s poor run of league form has continued despite Jesse Marsch replacing the experienced Marcelo Bielsa in the dugout. Leeds have now failed to win any of their last eight matches in the Premier League, suffering seven defeats in the process.

A midweek 3-0 hammering at home against Aston Villa was their sixth straight defeat in the English top-flight. The defeat also saw the Yorkshire outfit fail to score for a fourth consecutive league outing.

With time running out, Leeds are dangerously close to the relegation zone, just two points clear of 18th place Burnley, having played two more games than the Clarets.

Like their hosts, Norwich head into this clash in terrible recent league form. The Canaries have failed to win in six Premier League matches, having suffered five straight defeats in the process. Last time out the team from Norfolk suffered a 3-1 home defeat against Chelsea. The game saw Norwich concede at least two goals for the fifth straight league match.

Norwich’s recent poor run of league form has seen the Canaries fall five points behind 17th place, Everton in the fight for Premier League survival. They are now bottom of the table.

The visitors have a poor recent away record, as the Canaries have lost five of their last six league matches on their travels.

Leeds vs Norwich Team News

Leeds are without Liam Cooper, Tyler Roberts and Kalvin Phillips due to injury, while Junior Firpo is also a fitness doubt for the home team. Norwich look set to be missing Andrew Omobamidele and Adam Idah through injury.

Leeds vs Norwich Match Prediction

Both teams are on horrendous runs of form and are bereft of confidence. However, we believe Leeds have superior quality and will just sneak a much-needed narrow victory at Elland Road.

Odds 11/20
