Tenth placed Livingston host Rangers on Sunday afternoon, with the home side trying to not make three defeats in three. 

Livingston

Last season The Lions finished fifth in the table, six points of a Europa League spot. This season, however, they’ll be lucky to stay up if they carry on as they are. They have just one point in their first three games and have lost the last two.

Livingston need to turn things around quickly, and a game against Rangers isn’t ideal. Last season they lost twice to Steven Gerrard’s side who are in good form at the moment. However, Livingston did beat them at home so will take confidence from this into Sunday.

Livingston have scored and conceded in their last two games. They need to go out in this one and try and get their form back. We are thinking BTTS would be a good choice with BoyleSport at EVS.

Rangers

With three wins out of three, the start to the season couldn’t have gone any better for Steven Gerrard’s side. They are currently five points clear of last seasons Champions Celtic, who still have a game in hand. If Rangers can get a big gap from Celtic early on, it will put on the pressure.

Rangers have won all three of their games so far without conceding. We think this might come to an end this weekend. They won 3-0 last game but still had shaky moments in which another team may have capitalised.

Rangers last two games have over 2.5 goals in them. This should come in again this Sunday and at 8/11, that is a good price on its own or to boost an acca!

Team News

Alan Lithgow and Steve Lawson will both be missing this one for Livingstone due to injury. Rangers have two injuries of their own in Katic and Defoe. Neither side has anyone suspended.
