Tottenham’s New Home
it is nearly 2019 and Tottenham are still playing their home games at England’s ground, Wembley. The construction of their new ground is well underway over in North London and the stadium looks to be a work of art.
Development began back in 2015 and since then costs to the construction have cost around £850 Million. A statistic which may appear staggering as stadiums such as Old Trafford and Spurs’ former ground, White Hart Lane only just exceed the £100,000 mark. Nonetheless, that was over a century ago and costs for construction nowadays is far more extortionate.
Tottenham fans have been waiting patiently for their new home and now that pitch has been put down it makes it even easier to admire. The capacity of the ground has nearly doubled as it will hold around 62,000. No official opening date has been announced but surely it won’t be too long as the grass is already down.
