Solskjaer To Pass Busby

When Manchester United appointed their former player, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as interim manager, no one was sure how the team would perform under the Norweigan. Four games in, twelve points, fourteen goals and a happy audience at Old Trafford. 

It is certainly a new look United and their former tedius style of play has been eradicated by Ole as they have begun to play positive football. Their opponents since the Solskjaer takeover have all been in the bottom half of the table, however, that never assured a win for Mourinho. Cardiff, Huddersfield, Bournemouth and most recently, Newcastle have all met defeat to United under Solskjaer.

If his side is able to continue this rare run of form he could match a record held by Sir Matt Busby. Five consecutive wins is the best start to any Man United managerial campaign and when Reading visit Old Trafford, the record could be levelled. The more difficult task will arrive against Spurs the following week, who will be looking to keep their title challenge afloat at Wembley. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is clearly having a good impact on his lads, Rashford, Lukaku and even Sanchez are playing above their game at the moment. The next couple of months will portray a fair picture of the United gaffer, their matches verse PSG are being eagerly waited on.
