European Leagues Return This Weekend

After the Premier League returned last weekend, it is now the turn of the other major European leagues as they get going starting from this Friday!

This weekend marks the return of La Liga, The Bundesliga and The Seria A. This is a fantastic time for all football fans as now more big games are available to watch.

Currently, a lot of big clubs around Europe are going through big changes. The transfer window is open and a lot of big money signings are being made. This can and will have huge impacts on where clubs finish come the end of the 2020/21 season.

Let’s take a look at who are the favourites for each of these three leagues and how the rest of the competition is looking.

La Liga

Last seasons champions were Real Madrid who finished five points ahead of Barcelona. It was a good season for Los Blancos who are in a period of transition but still managed to pip Barca to the title. Zidane’s side are the favourites to win the league again this year at 8/11, with Barca priced at 15/8. Now they have kept Messi for another year this could be a great price.

According to the odds, its a two-horse race for the title, with Atletico priced at 9/1. It could be better to back Atletico in the ‘Betting Without Barcelona & Real Madrid 2020/21’. They are favourites in that at 4/5. The La Liga kicks off on Friday 18th September, with Getafe vs Osasuna.

Seria A

Juventus won the Seria A for the ninth season in a row last year, but it may be about to all change. It was a lot closer last season, with Sarri’s side winning the league by just one point to Inter Milan. Conte’s side have improved a lot since he took charge and have got a fantastic squad there now. Juventus however though are still the favourites at 10/11 with Inter at 15/8.

We think this will be one of the best Seria A seasons in a while. By finishing just a point behind, this will give Inter a lot of confidence and maybe spur them on more to get as many points as possible. You can bet without Juventus, in which Inter lead the way at 8/11. The first games of the Seria A season take place on Saturday 19th September at 17:00 pm.

Bundesliga

The season that looks like it’ll be fairly similar to the last, is the Bundesliga campaign. Bayern are the current Champions League holders and look to be back to their best. They won their league as well last season and Paddy Power don’t see it being much different this season, being priced at 1/7.

Dortmund are the side with the most chance of challenging them at 6/1. Thye have a good team but its not at the level that Bayern are, especially if they lose Jadon Sancho to Man United. You can back them though at 4/7 when betting without Bayern. The first games of the season are 14:30 on Saturday 19th September.
