Last night was the beginning of Match Day 2 in this year’s Champions League competition. The Group Stages at times lack the excitement the knockouts bring, however, this was not the case last night in Turin.

Juventus starlet, Dybala light up in his sides 3-0 win over Young Boys on Tuesday night. Ronaldo’s absence from the squad was due to a red card v Valencia.  Although Juve was missing their new signing, it gave the opportunity for Dybala to take the limelight. He did exactly that and secured his fourth hattrick for his club. From admiring his performance yesterday, it is a mystery to as why he only featured for 24 minutes in Argentina’s World Cup campaign. Not that he could replace Messi, however, it would have probably been beneficial for Joerge’ Sampaoli’s to fit him into the squad somewhere.

Dybala opened the scoring five minutes in which realistically killed the game off for their visitors.  His first strike was the sweetest of volleys as he stroked it past the keeper. Ten minutes from the break he doubled up after following in from a thunderous effort from teammate Matuidi. It didn’t look like he would be able to bag his third after a few close attempts on goal. Nonetheless, Cuadrado gifted Dybala his well-anticipated with a basic pass into the box followed by a poke in by the 24-year-old. He is currently the top scorer of the competition which will mean you have to keep an eye out for him if your team is unfortunate enough to face a terrifying Juventus team.
