All Premier League Teams Left In FA Cup

TheFACup

The Fifth Round of The FA Cup concluded last night and it is just Premier League sides left with most of the top eight still there!

Over the years, the FA Cup has lost its attraction to some of the big clubs. Usually, managers will play weakened sides in favour of the Premier League and Champions League. However, given Liverpool’s dominance this year many teams are looking to the FA Cup for silverware.

There haven’t been any huge upsets this season with all of the top eight sides bar Wolves in the Fifth Round. Liverpool and Spurs were knocked out of this round but there will still plenty of big sides left in the competition.

FA Cup Winner 2020 (Betway)

Man City (4/5): Last years winners will be confident of adding a seventh FA Cup win. They are easily the best team left in the competition and with no Premier League trophy, Pep will be keen to win this one.

Chelsea (15/2): Lampard’s side has a tough draw against Leicester to get through first. They won the FA Cup back in 2018 but there squad has changed a fair bit since then. It could depend on how they are getting on in the race for the top four.

Man United (8/1): United have got the most favourable draw with a game against Norwich. Ole’s side are still in the Europa and will favour that though. They have shown they can put on good performances though, already beating City twice.

Arsenal (9/1): The competitions most successful club with 13 wins. Arsenal are in better form now under Arteta but this can change so easily. There forwards are capable of winning the FA Cup but their defence could let them down.

Leicester (10/1): Rodger’s side has been very impressive this season but are slowing down currently. If they get back into their stride they can go all the way but need to beat Chelsea first. Vardy getting back to his best will be key for them.

Sheffield United (20/1): This seasons surprise package have proven very hard to beat. They are currently fighting it out for top six and it depends what Chris Wilder will favour. They’ve already beaten Arsenal once this year so who knows!

Norwich City (28/1): Currently struggling at the bottom of the Premier League. A long shot but United have had some very poor days this season and they could sneak into the semi-finals. Premier League survival will surely be the main aim.

Newcastle (33/1): A very tough quarter-final against Man City for Newcastle to get through first. They haven’t been consistent so far this season and any side, bar Norwich would be confident of playing them.

Betway also has odds available on each of the FA Cup games themselves, right through to the final. The prices of each side winning the competition are only going to drop as it progresses.
