BETTING & MATCH PREVIEW
Man United start their Premier League campaign this weekend with a home game against Crystal Palace.
Solskjaers side have started their Premier League season a week later than everyone else due to being in the Europa League. They were beaten by Sevilla in the semi-finals in their last game and will be hoping to get back to winning ways on Saturday.
Man United will be confident of winning this game despite Palace getting off to a good start last week. Paul Pogba is back in training along with Bruno and new boy Donny Van De Beek. Their team and squad are a lot better than Palace’s and are unbeaten in the Premier Leauge since February.
A win for United is key, especially having played one less game. If they end up being six points behind the Big Six come Sunday night it could have a bad effect on the side from the start of the season.
After eight games without a win last season, Palace kicked off the 2020/21 season with a 1-0 win over Southampton. A lot of this is down to the performance of goalkeeper Guita who had a fantastic game.
If Roy Hodgson’s side can come away from Saturday with a point, and four from their first two games this will be a fantastic start. They will need to be more solid at the back though as United will create more chances that Southampton and should take one or two if they defend the same.
Palace will take confidence from the fact that they beat United 2-1 at Old Trafford last season. On top of that, there is no home crowd either which is only going to help the away side on Saturday.
Both sides goes into it with no suspensions due to it being a new season. On top of that, both sides have no injuries to report so expect full strength sides on show.
