Leicester v Tottenham
BETTING & MATCH PREVIEW
In the Premier League’s early kick-off on Saturday, Leicester host Tottenham at the King Power Stadium, as the home side attempt to prove they have what it takes to challenge for a top-six spot this season.
Leicester started the campaign with a four-game unbeaten in the Premier League. However, a 1-0 defeat at Manchester United has rather took the wind out of the sails of the Foxes. A record of just one defeat in six league games is still a respectable one, though.
The home sides recent Premier League outings have been low-scoring, as five of their last seven league matches have produced over 2.5 goals.
Brendan Rodgers team are four games unbeaten on home soil at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League, having recorded two wins and two draws. The Foxes have been relatively solid in defence of late at home, conceding just once in four matches.
Tottenham will kick-off this clash third-place in the Premier League table, only ahead of the fifth-place home side on goal difference.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side has endured an inconsistent start to their campaign, winning just two of their five league outings so far this season. In fact, Spurs have won just two of their last eight top-flight matches.
Their away form has been a particular concern, as the north London side has failed to win in eight league matches on their travels. Pochettino’s side has drawn both of their away games this season at Manchester City and Arsenal.
Leicester’s only likely absentee is injury-prone midfielder Matt James, who is currently sidelined with an achilles problem. For Spurs, Giovani Lo Celso is ruled out through injury, while Kyle Walker-Peters, Ryan Sessegnon, Davinson Sanchez and Juan Forth are fitness doubts.
