Leicester v Everton
BETTING & MATCH PREVIEW
On Sunday afternoon, high-flying Leicester host Everton at the King Power Stadium, in a potentially vital game for Toffees boss Marco Silva.
Leicester are absolutely flying in the Premier League this season. Brendan Rodgers team are currently second-place in the table, eight points behind league leaders Liverpool.
The Foxes have won their last five matches in the Premier League, last time out winning 2-0 at Brighton. The victory saw the team from the Midlands keep a fourth straight clean sheet in the top-flight.
Rodgers team have also been free-scoring at the other end of the pitch, scoring at least two goals in their last five league outings.
The Foxes are now eight games unbeaten at the King Power Stadium, having recorded five straight home wins, and scored at least two goals in the five straight wins.
Everton are enduring a miserable campaign which has led to question marks over the future of boss Marco Silva on Merseyside. A 2-0 defeat at home to struggling Norwich last time out means that the Toffees have won just three of their last eight matches in all competitions.
The defeat against the Canaries means the Merseysider’s are now also just four points clear of the relegation zone.
The Toffees recent away form in the top-flight has been woeful, as they have won just once in their last nine away games in the league. A 2-1 win at Southampton in their last away game at least ended a four-game losing run in the top-flight away from home.
The home side only have one fitness doubt in the shape of centre-back Jonny Evans, who is struggling with a foot problem.
Everton, on the other hand, have a number of absentees, with Jean Philipp-Gbamin, Andre Gomes and Bernard all sidelined, while Fabian Delph is also a fitness doubt.
