Hertha Berlin vs Bayern Munich

BETTING & MATCH PREDICTION
On Friday night, reigning German champions Bayern Munich travel to the capital to take on Hertha in the Bundesliga.
The Old Lady look to be in crisis at the minute after a woeful recent run of form in the Bundesliga. They are now 15th place in the table and only out of the relegation play-off courtesy of superior goal difference to 16th place Arminia Bielefeld.
Pal Dardai’s return to the Hertha dugout did little to help the team revive their campaign, as they went down to a 3-1 defeat at in-form Eintracht Frankfurt. The game was Hertha’s fifth straight league match without a Bundesliga win, four of which they have lost.
The home team have endured defensive issues of late, conceding at least three goals in their previous three outings in the German top-flight.
A poor home record has also not helped Hertha position in the table, as they have won just two of their previous nine league matches in the Bundesliga.
Hansi Flick’s team are now seven points clear of second-place RB Leipzig after a four-game winning run for the reigning champions in the Bundesliga. Last time out Bayern recorded a 4-1 win over Hoffenheim, with Robert Lewandowski incredibly scoring his 24th Bundesliga goal of the season.
Unsurprisingly, Bayern are the Bundesliga’s top scorers this season, with their goal tally of 57 dwarfing the next highest scorers Eintracht Frankfurt and Dortmund, who have scored 38 goals.
Bayern’s away form has been slightly unconvincing of late, but the visitors have won three of their last four away games in the Bundesliga.
Hertha Berlin are likely to be without Dedryck Boyata and winger Jairo Dilrosun without injury.
Bayern Munich could be without midfielders Javi Martinez and Leon Goretzka due to illness.
