BETTING & MATCH PREDICTION
On Saturday afternoon, Everton host Watford at Goodison Park, as the Merseyside outfit look to get back to winning ways having gone two games without now.
The Toffees were beaten at home 1-0 in their last game against West Ham. They were missing both Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin and it is now gotten even worse, with Doucouré breaking his foot and now also set for a spell on the sidelines.
For Everton to get in a Europa League spot, would be a huge success. Currently, they are eighth in the table and they need to be winning these sorts of games for them get into Europe.
The home side will be desperate for one of Richarlison or Calvert-Lewin to be back available. They have got a good enough side to beat Watford, but it’ll be a tough game. No Doucoure is a huge miss in midfield
The Hornets have now gone three games without a win in the Premier League. They were on the receiving end of a 5-0 loss in their last game at home to Liverpool. It was a very disappointing performance and one they will want to forget about soon.
Watford now have a new manager in Claudio Ranieri. His will be worried by what he saw in his first game in charge and we expect to see a lot of changes in the next game.
It should be a defensive display from Watford, where they look to play on the counterattack. 442 didn’t work in the last game so a change of formation may happen. Despite not winning for three games, a draw here is still not a bad result.
The Toffees are definitely without Doucouré, while Calvert-Lewin, Delph and Gomes should be a week out. Richarlison is a doubt.
Etebo, N’Koulou, Sierralta and Kabasele are out whilst King is a doubt for the visitors.
We fancy the home side in this fixture. They have been performing better at the back of late and Watford will be struggling after a 5-0 loss.
PREDICTION – HOME WIN
