BVB are hot on the heels of perennial arch-rivals Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga table. In fact, Marco Rose’s team are currently second-place in the table, just a point behind the Bavarians in the fight for the German top-flight title.

The visitors have found form of late, as a 2-1 win over Stuttgart last time out was their fifth win in six league matches.

The game once again saw Rose’s team in prolific scoring form, as they have now scored at least two goals in five of their previous six outings in the German top-flight.

BVB have been highly inconsistent on their travels of late in the Bundesliga, as they have won two and lost three of their previous five away games in the German top-flight.
