Last time out BVB recorded a 4-2 win over Union Berlin, which saw another brace from star striker Erling Haaland. The Norwegian wunderkind has now scored seven times in five appearances in the Bundesliga.
Unsurprisingly with Haaland in their team, Dortmund have been prolific of late, as they have scored at least two goals in each of their recent four victories.

Dortmund have a stellar recent away record, as the visitors have won four of their last five Bundesliga games on their travels. BVB have also scored at least two goals in seven of their previous eight away games in the German top-flight.

Monchengladbach could be without Stefan Lainer, Mamadou Doucoure, Ramy Bensebaini and Marcus Thuram due to various injuries.

Dortmund have injury problems of their own, as Marcel Schmelzer, Julian Brandt, Soumaila Coulibaly, Nico Schulz, Steffen Tigges, Emre Can, Giovanni Reyna, Dan-Axel Zagadou and Mateu Morey could all miss out on this clash.
