On Sunday evening, Hertha Berlin welcome RB Leipzig to the Olympiastadion, in a big game for both teams’ objectives in the Bundesliga this season.

The team from the German capital have endured another underwhelming campaign so far and currently sit 14th place in the Bundesliga table, just one point clear of the relegation play-off spot.

Tayfun Korkut’s team head into this clash on the back of five Bundesliga games without a victory. Last time out, they suffered a 2-1 defeat at bottom club Greuther Furth. The result means that Hertha have kept one clean sheet in six Bundesliga outings.

Hertha have won just two of their last seven home matches in the German top-flight, having lost two of their last three league games on home soil.

RB Leipzig

Die Roten Bullen have hit form of late, as Domenico Tedesco’s team has now won four of their last five Bundesliga games. The only blip in that run was a 3-2 defeat at reigning champions Bayern Munich. The recent good form has been enough to move Leipzig back up into the Champions League spots.

The visitors have been prolific of late in the German top-flight, scoring at least two goals in their last five league outings. Star player Christopher Nkunku has been in fine form of late, scoring four goals in his last five appearances for the visitors.

The one negative of late for RB Leipzig has been their poor away record, as Die Roten Bullen have won just one of their last 13 Bundesliga games on their travels.

Hertha have some major injury problems, with Kevin-Prince Boateng, Marton Dardai, Marc Oliver Kempf, Kelian Nsona, Rune Jarstein, Ruwen Werthmuller, Nils-Jonathan Korber, Dedryck Boyata and Oliver Christensen all expected to miss out. RB Leipzig’s only likely absentee through injury is defender Marcel Halstenberg.
