RB Leipzig

With the Bundesliga returning, Betfair have a list of specials available, starting from the last weekend until the final set of fixtures!

This weekend saw the first set of games in over a month. There was a big game between Dortmund and Schalke, as this is a derby. Dortmund came away 4-0 winners, with Haaland scoring again. It was business as usual for Bayern. The league leaders won 2-0 against Union Berlin to keep four points clear of Dortmund.

Unfortunately for Leipzig, they lost ground on the leaders. They were held to a 1-1 draw with Freiburg and missed plenty of chances to take all three points.

The Bundesliga is a tough league for betting. Bayern Munich tends to dominate it and the odds reflect this. As we’ve had a break from it, Betfair has created some specials that will run from last weekends games until the end of the season.

Betfair Specials

Dortmund or Leipzig to go unbeaten – 2/1

Leipzig still has to play Dortmund which is probably their most worrying fixture. However, they have lost the least amount of games in the league and have only lost once in 2020. When they played Dortmund last, it finished in a 3-3 draw. Other than Dortmund, the majority of their games are against bottom-half teams.

Dortmund on the other hand, still have to play Bayern. This is at home, however, and Dortmund haven’t been beaten there yet this season. Looking at the fixtures for both sides, going unbeaten is definitely achievable.

Erling Haaland to score the most goals – 9/4

Haaland already scored one so far and has an incredible scoring record in The Bundesliga. He has ten goals to his name, averaging one every 60 minutes! Dortmund has five games against sides in the bottom half of the table and Haaland will be confident of adding more to his record. No striker in the league has a better goal per minute ratio than him.

Dortmund to score the most goals – 11/4

So far they have four goals, which is more than any other side. As previously mentioned they have a nice set of fixtures coming up and players who love to score goals. In the league overall, only Bayern have scored more than them and that’s only by 3! Dortmund could well finish the top goalscorers, especially if they play as they did against Schalke on the weekend!

Kai Havertz to score the most goals – 11/1

The one that everyone is talking about, Havertz. The young forward hit the ground running again this weekend, when he scored twice against Werder Bremen. He set a new record as well, being the youngest player in Bundesliga history to score 30 goals. His two this week have him top at the moment. It will be a tough ask, but he has shown he is no stranger to the back of the net.

On top of this, Betfair have more offers available to make the end of the German season that bit more interesting!
