BETTING & MATCH PREVIEW
On Monday night, Brighton host Everton at the Amex Stadium, in a game that could have big implications at the bottom of the Premier League table.
Graham Potter’s team have been sucked towards the relegation zone in recent months after a poor run of results. The Seagulls are now just six points above the drop zone after two wins in their last six league games.
They were beaten 2-1 in their last game against Man United, after taking an early lead. They need to stop letting points slip if they want to be in the Premier League next season.
Brighton play good football, but sometimes leave themselves open when they do. Against Everton they could revert back to a back three and look to use the width of the pitch.
With no wins in their last three games, Everton need to get three points to keep top-four hopes alive. They drew their last game 1-1 with Crystal Palace but had many chances to put the game to bed.
A place in Europe would be huge for Everton and is still very much on. They have had a fantastic season but now when it really matters they need to produce.
The visitors will want to dominate the ball but that is tricky against Brighton. They will be hoping Calvert-Lewin has put the last game behind and can get back amongst the goals.
Brighton have several players who will miss out through injury, including Adam Webster, Tariq Lamptey, Solly March and Aaron Connolly. Defender Dan Burn is also a fitness doubt ahead of this big clash.
Gomes, Delph and Pickford are out. Berarnd, Doucoure, Allan and Iwobi are doubts for Everton.
