Unlikely Pitch Invader

Over in Canberra, Australia a wild beast took to the field as players run in fear. When an animal invades a pitch its usually a domestic pet, however, this Kangaroo caused chaos during a football match in the capital. In the video, you can see the Roo lingering around the edge of the stadium and it was only a matter of time before it came the first ever Kangaroo pitch invader. Although they look cute, they at times can be dangerous. They’re far stronger than humans and if they got hold of you, they’ll do some serious damage with the claws on their feet. So you can understand why the girls fley once the national animal bounces towards them.

This fella seemed to be a friendly one as it was his curiosity that disrupted the match rather than anything else. By the time the Kangaroo had laid down in the goalmouth and done a few laps of the pitch, thirty minutes had gone by! I’m sure the ref added a few minutes back on, you can’t really call it ‘injury time’ though.
