After his stunning goalkeeping performance against Belgium in the World Cup Tim Howard has become a internet sensation. Social media exploded with love for Tim after he made a record 16 saves for the USA against Belgium.

Tim’s heroic display of keeping kept the USA in the game right until the final minute, in homage the internet came up with a “ThingsTimHowardCouldSave” meme. The list included the Titanic, Eddard Stark, Simba’s Dad and Private Ryan! My favourite was the prankster who changed the U.S. Secretary of Defence page on wikipedia, inserting a photo of Tim!
