That Can’t Actually Be Their Kit…
Huddersfield Town FC and Paddy Power have teamed up this year with the bookmakers as the new shirt sponsor, but the kit is questionable, to say the least!
Last season wasn’t a memorable one for The Terriers. They finished last in the Premier League with only three wins all season! Next year they will be hoping to bounce back but will need to spend some money on improving the squad.
Now, this money may come in the form of their new sponsors, Paddy Power. The bookmakers are known for being viral sensations with funny adverts and tweets. One of their most recent ones had Rodri Giggs, brother of Ryan, staring in an advert on loyalty…
So with a new sponsor and a new season should come an interesting new kit. And well, this new kit is definitely very interesting!

The kit has had a very mixed reaction, most of the Huddersfield fans want it changed whilst fans of other clubs find it funny. It appears though that the FA don’t find it funny. They have launched an investigation into the kit after it appears to breach guidelines on sponsors.
Huddersfield has tweeted saying the kit is available to buy Saturday 20th July, however, whether it is actually going to be their kit remains to be seen.
They are starting their Championship campaign soon. Unsurprisingly after a poor year in the Premier League, they are not one of the favourites to come back up. They are at 20/1 on Bet365 to win the Championship and 6/1 to be promoted.
