The Liverpool curse struck again this month as we saw Phillipe Coutinho depart from Merseyside to Catalonia. It was heartbreaking for the fans when a player decides to leave, even more so when he’s your star player.
Over the past few years, The Reds haven’t been able to hold onto any of their key players. The likes of Suarez, Sterling and now Coutinho are just a memory on the Kop. As hard as it may be for the supporters, they have made light out of their current situation with the best chant in football this year. You can’t go on a night out anywhere near the North West without hearing the Mo Salah ‘Sugar Sugar’ parody, so you best get used to it.
