Since Man United fan Daragh wrote a letter to Jurgen Klopp hoping for Liverpool to lose, the soon-to-be champions have been on an awful run!
Most fans around the world have wanted Liverpool to stop winning games this season, since probably the first week. Well, a young Man United fan called Daragh decided he would take matters into his own hands.
He decided the best way to do so was to write a letter to Jurgen Klopp. He asked the Liverpool manager if his side could lose some games so that they wouldn’t win the league. To Daragh’s surprise, Klopp wrote back saying he couldn’t make his team lose games as there are too many fans wanting Liverpool to do well.
However, it appears that Klopp has done the opposite. Since Daragh sent this letter to Klopp, Liverpool have been on a terrible run losing three out of four games.
Since this #mufc fan sent a letter to Klopp to lose games, Liverpool have:

Liverpool on a losing streak
Their first loss was a 1-0 defeat away to Atletico Madrid. Liverpool will host the Spanish side next week, with the visitors the favourites to qualify for the leg at 17/20 with Klopp’s side at 10/11. However, Liverpool are still one of the favourites to win the Champions League at 13/2 with Atletico priced at 20/1.
Their next loss came away to Watford. This finally ended Liverpool’s unbeaten streak and stopped them going unbeaten, much to Daraghs delight. However, it’s not going to stop them winning the league as they are 22 points clear of Man City currently.
Liverpool’s most recent loss was another away game but this time in the FA Cup. Chelsea beat them 2-0 to stop them doing The Treble, even though Liverpool fans will argue the Club World Cup counts. Man City are the favourites to lift The FA Cup at 8/11!
