Keeper Goes From Zero To Hero

The times of chivalry are dead in football, but some players take it to a whole new level. We see this time and time again, footballers celebrating just a little too early. In this case it’s a penalty shootout and both Goalies lose concentration. The penalty-taker strikes the ball, pings the top of the cross bar and as the opposition Keeper is off celebrating the ball comes back down to earth and bounces in. I’m sure he would have told the lads in the dressing room he meant it.
