Aaron Ramsey is set to quadruple his weekly wage after move to Juventus is finalised!
Even though the January transfer window is shut it doesn’t mean players can’t sign for new clubs. Ramsey has signed a pre-agreement with the Italian giants. He is allowed to talk to other clubs due to having six months left on his contract. The Welsh international will join Juventus officially on the 1st of July 2019. It is thought the contract is worth to be a mind-boggling £400,000 per week pre-tax.
Ramsey joins a long list of players that Juventus have somehow managed to get for free over the years. Notably, Paul Pogba, Andre Pirlo and Dani Alves are on this list who all had an influential spell in Italy.
Massimiliano Allegri will be hoping the Arsenal midfielder will come and have the same impact in the club as other free transfers have. Although we doubt he’ll ever demand a transfer fee of £89.3 million like Pogba…
Arsenal signed Ramsey from Cardiff City back in June 2008 at the age of 17 for £4.8 million. He made his debut for Arsenal in August of that year. He then had loan spells at Nottingham Forrest and Cardiff City the next year. Ramseys best season in an Arsenal shirt came in 2013/14. He played 23 league games scoring ten and assisting nine. Since then the Welshman has found it hard to reach such heights. This season he has played 22 scoring two and assisting 6.
However, the central midfielder is only 28 and if what most people think is to be true he is just hitting his peak now. Juventus will be hoping that he can bring back his earlier form and bring more goals to his game. I mean for £400,000 a week it’s not a lot to ask!

Ramsey is set to earn a staggering amount of money, the amount that would put him into the top 10 paid world footballers. But how much does that equal to per second? He will earn £54,142 per day and 66p per second! If he were to drop a pound on the floor it wouldn’t be worth his time picking it up! We’ve crunched the numbers to try and put into perspective how much £400,000 a week really is. He could buy 800,000 Dairy Milk chocolate bars a week, although I doubt Juve would be happy! He could get 400 brand new iPhones a week or a Lamborghini Aventador a week and have £130,000 change!
Ramsey’s new team are still in the Champions League and Bet365 have the Italians third favourites to win it at 13/2. Arsenal will be hoping though that he is only focused on his current team and their Europa League campaign. The Gunners are 6/1 on Bet365 and I’m sure Ramsey would love to have one final trophy before he left the London club.
