Fellaini Trim

Manchester United & Belgium midfielder, Marouane Fellaini is known for his physical style of play and more recognisably, his afro!

Many fans checked their Instagram feed this morning and were taken back when they saw that Fellaini has had a trim. To some he was unrecognisable and comments on the post suggested that some thought he was a new signing. Unfortunately for United, it is the same old Fellaini they saw verse Manchester City. All jokes aside, Fellaini has been one of the most consistent United players this season regardless of critics. He does his job in the team which is the exact sort of player Mourinho needs in the grand scheme of things.

The Belgian giant has featured in 3/4 Champions League group matches, the only fixture he missed was United’s Old Trafford defeat to Juventus. A player with such presence on the pitch can be menacing for the opposition and most defenders can’t deal with the sheer size of the 30-year-old. His appearances in the Premier League have no structure and he is usually brought in for the big matches. In Europe though, he is a solid centrepiece of the team which is what United need if they hope to succeed in the Champions League.
