Match Has To Be ‘Pawsed’ at Everton vs Wolves

Evertons afternoon turned into a CATastrophe this weekend when things went from bad to worse after Leander Dendoncker put the visiting side 3-1 up!

Moments after the Belgian defensive midfielder made sure all 3 points were heading back to the midlands a black cat made its way onto the pitch causing the play to be stopped.

It took approximately 5 minutes for play to resume at Goodison Park, due to ground staff finding it fairly difficult to catch the cat. It wasn’t as if there were two people on the pitch who’s skills sets included catch things moving quickly….

After finally removing the cat from the pitch Toffees fans preceded to chanting ‘Sign him up!’, and with Evertons currents form maybe that wouldn’t be such a bad idea! In fact the feline clocked up some pretty impressive stats. According to ChyronHego the streaker covered 354.42 metres and hit speeds of 25.73kph!

However the presence of the black cat wasn’t all bad luck. Seconds after the cat came onto the pitch Sunderland went and scored to make it 1-0 in their game in League One against Wimbledon.

So, after what was a bad day for the host will still be a memorable one but not for the football on display thats for sure!
