In the latest fashion craze Gucci have released dirty-looking trainers worth over £600! Its time to look in your shed, there could be a gem!

The trainers look no different to the ones you used to wear to play football in at the park. Somehow the Italian brand are charging an eye-watering £615 such shoes.

They come in a variety of of stained colours, so you can chose how much football its looks like has been played in them.

In case you thought you’d have the task of scuffing them, worry not as Gucci also provide this service for you as well.

Gucci have said that the influence for their latest design came from classic trainers from the ’70s. They have also released a tennis shoe style version to ensure more sports are catered for.

The trainers though haven’t gone down well with consumers and critics. Critics have accused the brand of ‘glorifying poverty’ with the design being referred to as ‘peak capitalism’.

Consumers have said they look ‘disgusting’. Others can’t understand why you’d pay so much for something that ‘looks like it was thrown away 20 years ago’.

Don’t worry though, if you can’t afford such trainers and have none in your shed we have a solution. A young “entrepreneur” up in Glasgow has started his own Rent-A-Shoe business.

You can rent shoes for £20 a day, £40 for a weekend or £70 a week. However, the Glaswegian does demand a £100 deposit for scuff and stains. No one would get their deposit back with the Gucci trainers then!
