BETTING & MATCH PREDICTION
On Sunday afternoon, Atalanta host Juventus at the Gewiss Stadium, in what is a massive Serie A clash in the fight for the Champions League spots.
Once again Gian Piero Gasperini’s team are fighting for a Champions League spot in the Italian top-flight. The Nerazzurri are currently fourth-place, a point behind Sunday’s third-place visitors and just two points ahead of Napoli in fifth.
The boys from Bergamo seem to have found form at just the right time in Serie A, as they head into this game on the back of a four-game winning run. They have also scored at least two goals in each of those victories.
Atalanta have been formidable of late at the Gewiss Stadium in Serie A, as they are unbeaten in five home games, having recorded four wins. The Nerazzurri have also scored at least three goals in all five of their unbeaten league matches on home soil.
The visitor’s recent form has improved in Serie A, as they have recorded back-to-back league wins over Napoli and Genoa after drawing the Turin derby 2-2 with city rivals Torino.
Despite their recent decent league form, the reigning champions are 12 points adrift of league leaders Inter at the top of the Serie A table. They are also just three points clear of third-place Napoli in the race for the top-four spots this season.
The Bianconeri are unbeaten in three away games in the Italian top-flight but have won just once in four league matches on their travels.
Atalanta look set to be without Hans Hateboer through injury and Matteo Pessina through illness.
Juventus are expecting Leonardo Bonucci and Federico Bernardeschi to miss out due to illness.
