Aston Villa vs Fulham

BETTING & MATCH PREDICTION
On Sunday afternoon, Aston Villa host Fulham at Villa Park with both sides coming into this fixture looking to get back to winning ways.
The Villans find themselves in a bad run of form of late. They haven’t won in four games, losing their last one 2-0 to Spurs. This poor run of form has coincided with Jack Grealish being out injured.
Villa are currently tenth in the table and slipping further away from any chance of European football this season. A win against Fulham would be huge if they were serious a place in Europe.
Dean Smiths side will be hoping Jack Grealish will be back for this one. He has been one of the players of the season so far and would be a huge miss. Villa’s defence will need to be focused throughout as Fulham like to use their pace to get in behind.
Scott Parker’s side lost their last game 2-1 against Leeds. It was a disappointing result and they will have felt that they should have got something from the game.
The result leaves them in 18th place still, two points from safety. Since the New Year, they have turned a corner and as it stands look more likely to stay up than Newcastle. However, if that gap goes to five points it becomes a lot harder!
The visitors will be hoping Grealish is missing from this one. If he plays could depend on how Fulham set up. Fulham though do have players of their own who the opposition need to worry about and in particular Lookman. A win would be huge, but a draw is still not a bad result.
Villa are likely to still be without Kortney Hause and Grealish. Moraes is still out.
Cairney is still struggling with a knee injury, whilst Rodak and Reid are both out.
