Man United vs Spurs – 4th December, 19:30
This is going to be a big game for many reasons. Firstly it is a fixture between two of the ‘Big Six’, which is always huge in the Premier League. Secondly, it is the return of Mourinho. The Special One recently took over from Pochettino at Spurs and this is the first time he returns to his old club. Finally, these two sides need to find some form if either of them wants top four. A win in this game could push them on to that.
Liverpool vs Everton – 4th December, 20:15
Starting 45 minutes after Mourinho’s return is the small matter of a Merseyside derby. Even though these two teams are miles apart in terms of ability, it’s still a massive game. Liverpool need to win every game they can to keep clear on Man City. This should be a routine win but in a Merseyside derby, form goes out the window. Who knows we may even get a last-minute goal like last season.
Leicester vs Liverpool – 26th December, 20:00
This could be a very important game come the end of the season. Leicester and Liverpool are the two most in-form teams in the league playing some fantastic football. The Foxes are flying this season and could well cause an upset. If Liverpool can go there and get a win it is a huge statement.
Wolves vs Man City – 27th December, 19:45
Depending on how the Liverpool game goes the day before this one could put Man City back in the title race or completely out of it. Wolves is a tough place to go and Man City didn’t win there last season. However, this could potentially be the first big game for a new Wolves manager. Nuno is being tipped to be the next Arsenal manager should Emery get sacked!
The odds for these games aren’t out yet as there is still Premier League fixtures to be played beforehand. However, when they come around Betfred will have odds available on all the games as well as many other markets such as First Goalscorer, Both Teams To Score etc.
