RB Leipzig v Bayern Munich
BETTING & MATCH PREVIEW
On Sunday evening, RB Leipzig host league leaders Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga, as the home side look to gain ground on the top-four.
Last season’s Bundesliga runners-up RB Leipzig are currently sixth place in the table, four points behind Bayer Leverkusen who occupy the fourth Champions League spot.
A four-game run without a Bundesliga win has hampered the home side’s attempts of clinching a top-four spot. Last time out in the Bundesliga, Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side drew 0-0 at Stuttgart.
Leipzig’s recent Bundesliga games have been relatively low scoring, with under 2.5 goals scored in five of their last seven league outings.
The home side’s recent form at the Red Bull Arena has not been great in the Bundesliga, as they have won just two of their last seven league games.
Bayern Munich are once again dominating the Bundesliga this season. The Bavarians are currently a massive 20 points clear of second place Schalke in the table.
A run of 12 wins in their last 13 games in the Bundesliga has helped the visitors build the big lead at the top of the table. Last time out in the league, Bayern trounced Hamburg 6-0 at the Allianz Arena. The big win means that Jupp Heynckes’ side have scored two or more goals in eight of their last nine league outings.
Bayern have been strong on their travels of late in the German top-flight, winning their last six away games, conceding just two goals in the process.
The home side look set to be without Konrad Laimer and Marcel Halstenberg due to injury. Bayern could be without Corentin Tolisso, Arjen Robben, Manuel Neuer and Kingsley Coman.
