The Premier League was established in 1992 and has seen many great managers over the years such as Sir Alex Ferguson who won thirteen titles with Manchester Utd. Big money investors moved in allowing clubs to grow from strength to strength and the run-up to the 2019/20 Premier League season could be seen as one of the most exciting starts to the season ever.

There is no doubting that the Premier League boasts some of the greatest players in the world but that doesn't stop the transfer market from lighting up in the Summer window. On the back of last seasons campaigns, some players are obviously more highly sought after with plenty of clubs willing to break transfer records to ensure they have the absolute best that money can buy.

There has been a host of big money player signings, some of them record-breaking including Harry Maguire who moved to Man United for £80 million! Arsenal signed winger Nicolas Pepe for £70 million from Lille whilst Man City brought in Spanish midfielder Rodri for £62.8 million. Liverpool had a fairly quiet tranfer window, with their biggest signing being 16 year old Harvey Elliott from Fulham. Chelsea were another team who very quiet, but this was due to their transfer ban they had placed on them.
