Leicester v Arsenal
BETTING & MATCH PREVIEW
The late kick-off on Saturday in the Premier League is a big game, as Leicester host Arsenal at King Power Stadium, as the Foxes look to continue their excellent recent run of form in the English top-flight.
Brendan Rodgers team are currently third-place in the table, just two points behind reigning champions Manchester City who are second in the table. However, importantly, the Foxes are also six points clear of Saturday evening’s opponents, who currently occupy fifth place.
The home side has now won five of their last six Premier League games, with their only blip in that run a 2-1 defeat at league leaders Liverpool. The Foxes have also scored at least two goals in all five of those recent wins.
Leicester are currently in the midst of a seven-game unbeaten run on home soil in the Premier League, having recorded five wins. They have now also recorded four straight league wins at the King Power.
Arsenal head into this clash on the back of a poor run of form in the Premier League. A 1-1 draw with Wolves last time out in the Premier League means that the Gunners have won just once in their last five league outings.
They have also failed to win in their last four away games in the English top-flight, which does not bode well heading to an in-form Leicester. The fact that the north London side has lost on their last two visits to the King Power Stadium also points to the fact that the Gunners could struggle for a positive result on Saturday.
Leicester have a nearly fully-fit squad, with injury-prone midfielder Matt James the only likely absentee. Arsenal’s injury list has cleared up significantly in recent weeks. However, the big talking point is whether Granit Xhaka will return to the starting line-up.
