Inter v AC Milan
BETTING & MATCH PREVIEW
On Sunday night, Inter host AC Milan at the Giuseppe Meazza in what could prove to be a massive Milan derby in Serie A.
Inter are hot on the heels of leaders Juventus, as the Nerazzurri are just three points behind the team from Turin. The home sides Scudetto hopes have been boosted by a 15-game unbeaten run. In fact, their last defeat came against the reigning champions back in October.
Last time out, Inter ended a run of three straight league draws by recording a 2-0 win at Udinese. The result means that Inter’s latest four league outings have produced under 2.5 goals.
Inter are seven league games unbeaten on home soil, but the Nerazzurri have drawn four of those seven undefeated games, including three of their last four home matches in Serie A.
An improvement in form of late for Milan has seen the Rossoneri rise to within touching distance of the European berths in Serie A. In fact, Stefano Pioli’s team are level on points with Cagliari, who occupy the final European spot in the Italian top-flight.
Milan are currently five games unbeaten in Serie A after a 1-1 home draw against Verona last time out in the Italian top-flight.
The visitor’s recent league games have been tight, low-scoring affairs, with four of their last five Serie A games producing under 2.5 goals.
Milan have a strong recent away record, winning four of their last five matches on their travels in the Italian top-flight. However, this game may not feel like an away game due to the fact the game is at the stadium they share with Inter.
Inter are without Tommaso Berni and maybe crucially Lautaro Martinez due to suspension, Roberto Gagliardini, Stefano Sensi and Borja Valero look set to miss out due to injury. Lucas Biglia, Leo Duarte and Rene Krunic could miss out for the visitors.
