Gray Booked for Vichai Tribute

Since the passing of Leicester owner, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha the Premier League has really come together with passing their respects to a great man.

Leicester played their first match back on the weekend as they travelled to Cardiff City. There was an emotional minutes silence for those who lost their lives in the crash and it was a lovely sight to see all the staff accompany the players on the centre circle.

The game was underway and there were big chances at both ends. The deadlock couldn't be broken before the break but after half-time, it didn't take long for Gray to strike home and give Leicester the lead. After netting, Gray ran to the sideline and revealed an under armour which was printed ‘for Khun Vachai.' To everyone's disbelief, Lee Probert deemed this act as punishable and gave Gray a yellow. It is well known that if any player takes off their jersey during a celebration they will be penalised. However, you think under the circumstances he could have turned a blind eye to it on this occasion.

Fans erupted when they saw their player receive a yellow and many pundits disagree with Probert's naive decision. Regardless, it was a class act from Leicester's star and they held on to their one-goal lead until the final whistle.
