Chelsea v Everton
BETTING & MATCH PREVIEW
On Sunday afternoon, Chelsea faces a potential test of their Premier League title credentials as they welcome Everton to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have started their league campaign with eight wins and three draws so far and trail league leaders Manchester City by just two points. Last time out in the top-flight the Blues recorded a 3-1 home win over Crystal Palace.
The result means that Maurizio Sarri’s team have now scored at least two goals in nine of their 11 league outings this season. It has also contributed to there being over 2.5 goals scored in the home sides last four league matches.
The Blues are now nine matches unbeaten on home soil in the Premier League, although four of those games have finished in draws. Both teams have scored in six of their last seven home games in the league.
Everton are ninth place in the table having recorded four wins in their last five top-flight matches. Last time out the Toffees recorded a comfortable 3-1 home win over Brighton, with Brazilian star Richarlison star scoring a brace.
The Toffees have been prolific of late in the Premier League, scoring at least twice in all four of their recent league victories.
The Merseysiders have a poor recent away record in the top-flight, winning just one of their last six away games in the top-flight. To make matters worse the visitors have conceded at least two goals in five of their last six away games in the league.
Chelsea have a fully-fit squad to choose from. Belgian winger Eden Hazard is likely to return to the starting line-up at the expense of Willian or Pedro.
Everton will be without on-loan Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma, as he is ineligible to play against his parent club. Yerry Mina is likely to come in to replace Zouma and make his full debut. Jonjo Kenny and Phil Jagielka are doubts but were unlikely to start anyway.
