BETTING & MATCH PREVIEW
On Sunday afternoon, north London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham go head-to-head at the Emirates Stadium, in a potentially vital Premier League game.
Arsenal heads into this derby clash on the back of an unbeaten run of 11 games in the Premier League. A 2-1 victory over Bournemouth in their last league outing saw the Gunners move to within a point of fourth-place Chelsea in the race for the Champions League spots.
Although the Gunners recent games have not all been high scoring in the top-flight, their last six games have seen both teams score.
Arsenal have drawn their last two home games in the top-flight, but are unbeaten at the Emirates Stadium since the opening weekend defeat by league leaders Manchester City.
Tottenham have hit form of late in the top-flight, winning seven of their last eight league outings. A 3-1 home win over another London rival Chelsea last time out saw Spurs move up to third place in the table, just five points behind leaders City in the table.
The visitor’s recent league games have been relatively low scoring, with under 2.5 goals scored in five of their last seven outings.
Mauricio Pochettino’s team have won their last five away games in the Premier League. The visitors have also kept clean sheets in three of their last four games on their travels in the top-flight, contributing to under 2.5 goals scored in each of the aforementioned three matches.
For Arsenal, Nacho Monreal, Danny Welbeck and Konstantinos Mavropanos look set to miss out through injury. Laurent Koscielny could return to the squad after recovering from injury. Striker Alexandre Lacazette and full-back Stephan Lichtsteiner are also doubts.
Tottenham are without Davinson Sanchez and Mousa Dembele due to injury, while England full-backs Danny Rose and Kieran Trippier are also doubts.
